As a first-generation Haitian-American kid, my family and other families like ours overcame our circumstances by gaining something that cannot be taken away from us…. EDUCATION. I began my college journey nearly a decade after completing high school in 2000. I completed most of my general education classes at Moraine Valley Community College 然后在2015年秋天决定转到科罗拉多州立大学.
